This series titled, Heirloom Study, thinks about painting and the landscape as something to be remembered, protected and passed down. These are images that offer moments of solitude, opportunities for escape and the possibility for the viewer to lean on their own memories and their own experiences to create narratives within the paintings. They reflect the permanence and endurance of our environment.
