Portsmouth, NH - From December 1 through December 31, Nahcotta exhibits a group show, titled FORWARD. The opening reception is free and open to the public and will take place at Nahcotta on Friday, December 1, from 6-8 p.m.
FORWARD includes a cross-section of 12 artists from within Nahcotta’s extensive stable, representing a range of work – from the illustrative to the abstract, from drawings to paintings. The group of artists within this December show is: Allison May Kiphuth, Michael McConnell, Kelsey Oseid, Mark Hoffman, Lindsay Stripling, Laura Berger, Sarah K. Benning, Matt Adrian, Diana Sudyka, Jennifer Judd-McGee, Lisa Solomon, and Lily Raymond.
In the spirit of giving (and “paying it forward”), 25% of the entire proceeds from the FORWARD exhibition will be donated to three non-profit organizations – local organization Gather (http://gathernh.org), which works to end hunger in the Seacoast region, Small Can Be Big (https://www.smallcanbebig.org/crowdsourcing-charity), which utilizes social sharing to aid families in desperate need of financial help, and Advancement Project (http://www.advancementproject.org), a grassroots civil rights organization fighting for a just democracy for all.
The opening reception for this show is Friday, December 1, from 6-8 p.m. at Nahcotta, located at 110 Congress Street in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
