Mel is a self-taught freelance designer, art director, and mixed media artist based in Portland, Maine, with previous residencies in NYC and Philadelphia. Since 2021, Mel has been devoted to full-time creative pursuits and has successfully operated an art shop for five years. Inspired by their queer identity, vibrant colors, and Italian culinary experiences, they aim to share love and nostalgia through their art.
