This piece is framed cut paper. The artwork is mounted into a frame with the outside measuring 10" x 10". The museum glass allows for the intricacy of the papercut designs to shine through and the frames are ready to hang.
Emily Brown is a papercut artist based in Portland, Oregon. Practicing the papercut art form for the past 15 years, she is inspired by the intricate patterns and textures found in nature. Every piece is hand-drawn and hand-cut paper executed with care with a precision art knife.
Emily's ETA32 collection is a celebration of the magic of summer. Each of these plants grows like a weed in the summer, but as poet Ella Wheeler Cox said, "A weed is but an unloved flower."
