Helen Wildes' work can be described as a creation of organic worlds in stitch. Reflecting the natural world whilst remaining firmly in the realm of imagination, using texture and colour to produce a plethora of wildlife & botanical landscapes in yarns, acrylics and silks. Palettes and materials evolving with every piece like nature itself. Wilde elevates humble stitches with paint, ceramic elements & 3D forms. Inspiration for these pieces is taken from Wildes’ Derbyshire home.
Wildes' Enormous Tiny Art Show #31 series, 'Bloom,' is an exploration of colour and texture recreating natures forms.
