Produced in Portugal in small numbers, the large Gourd vase is made of earthenware. The vase comes in matte black engobe base color then glazed over with a special translucent white gloss glaze. The translucent glaze has a special effect that leaves random parts unglazed revealing the black engobe texture underneath - a process that has been specially developed for Yod and Co.!
