Faisal Warsani is an artist living in Honolulu. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin and is now working full-time on the island.
His work is centered thematically on the sea — beachside memories and the desire to escape are what inspire him.
This current body of work, How to Disappear, represents the poetry in leaving. The stars had aligned for him to start over again, in paradise. These paintings exist because of moments that felt cinematic, dramatic.
