Eric Hosford is an illustrator and designer based in Boston, MA. Interested in the relationship between humanity and the immense power of nature, he uses the fluid motion of clouds, water, and smoke to convey how our efforts to control are dwarfed and overcome by our environment.
Eric's Enormous Tiny Art Show #31 collection was made as a solution to balancing new parenthood during the pandemic. Collaging unfinished paintings, they revive past ideas to create something new. Creating work in isolation can be challenging, and this approach provided a new outlet for that desire to create within that vacuum. Letting go of old work to create something new, that is still familiar, still loved, to become something all its own was my hope for these pieces.
