Lindsey Luna Tucker completed her BFA at Georgia State University in 2017. Taking inspiration from nature, poetry, books and emotions. Lindsey’s expressive landscapes begin with visual awareness of the physical world but favor emotional truth over visual realism. Lindsey has been awarded artist residencies with Lawayaka Current and Saint Gertrude’s Monastery. Her work lives in private collections throughout North America and Europe. She currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia.
This piece is part of Lindsey's Enormous Tiny Art show #31 collection. "These paintings are a continuation of my exploration into how we as humans, perceive landscapes in different moments in our lives. The interpretations we make of a specific place often reflect the inner struggles, questions, emotions, etc spinning in our own minds. These landscapes are an investigation into how the inner dialogue in our minds affects our experience of place."
