Em Randall is a painter and illustrator based in Northern Michigan. Her work primarily focuses on figures who strike a balance between memory and myth, often inspired by folklore, personal nostalgia, and collective symbolism.

In her own words: "These pieces were in part inspired by a Ruth Stone poem called “Train Ride” and the strange ways in which we catalog time and our brief occupancy within it. There is no particular title, but rather a small sequence of themes that overlap and repeat."
