He graduated with high distinction from the California College of Art and Design with a Bachelor degree in Illustration. Sean is known for his detailed and whimsical drawings. His playful work is recognized for its sweet and colorful landscapes and characters, as well as a sense of mystery that quietly looms deep within each narrative.
This piece is part of Sean Hipkin's February 2022 solo show Kindred, which is a continuation of Sean's College Senior thesis project titled, The Wander Lost Ones. Inspired by the English 1920's camping, hiking and handicraft group, The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift.
