Britt Fabello is an east coaster currently living and working as an artist in Los Angeles, California. Fabello's work thoughtfully delves into the intangible aspects of human existence. Intertwining inner expressions with nods to environmental forms, her art captures fleeting moments and emotions. With its evoked sense of nostalgia and connection to the past, the viewer is invited to embark on a meditative exploration, wandering into the depths of their own memories.

This piece is from Britt's ETA34 collection. In her own words: "Over the past five years, my art has revolved around intricately embroidered interpretations of places from my travels. However, my latest body of work breaks free, venturing into unexplored realms and pushing the boundaries of my meditative reflections even further. By harnessing deep colors, layered textures, and a nostalgic reference to old film strips, these visual expressions capture both vivid and blurred memories. Each piece undergoes a deliberately slowed-down process, with days spent pouring layer after layer of paint, allowing pigments to separate, dry, and take their own unique course before textural elements are harmoniously weaved in. The organic nature of the process gives rise to topographic elements and an atmospheric aura that resonates with a profound recollection of emotions, preserving them in timeless stillness."
