Kozy kitchens is a ceramist/illustrator based in Yamanashi, Japan and Los Angeles. She fires her ceramic creatures in wood-fired kilns in the mountains of the Japanese countryside. 

Mitama is part of Kozy Kitchens' bunny primitives sculpture series. They are fired in wood firing kilns for a few days. Kozy was influenced by ancient Jomon pottery that is found in the area of Japan she resides in.
