Amanda Blake received her BA in fine arts from the University of Oregon, studied watercolor in Siena, Italy and oil painting and print making at the Chautauqua Art Institute in New York. Her paintings use symbolism and the imagery of superstitions to explore the idea of fate and the search for meaning in the the world around us. She lives in Eugene, Oregon.
