Jodie Masterman is a ceramic artist who’s been practicing for 16 years. Hailing from Wales, she has her MFA in ceramics from Louisiana State University, her Post-Baccalaureate in Ceramics from the University of Florida, and her BFA from the Appalachian Center for Craft. After living in New Orleans for four years, her work began to reflect the bright colors of the city’s buildings, streets, and people. Now living in Jamaica, Vermont with her husband and toddler, she finds inspiration in the change of seasons—watching as the colors of the world slowly return after a long, black and white winter. She hopes her work brightens up homes and daily rituals.

About this collection: When looking through a yellow lens, its hard not to see the bright side of things. I've always found that rich, vibrant colors can elevate even the most mundane of rituals and objects. With this work I hope to encourage people to slow down and cherish the little moments, inside and out of the kitchen.
