Britt Fabello is an East Coaster currently living and working as an artist in Los Angeles, California. Grounded in the meditative nature of an intentionally slowed-down practice, her work contemplates the interplay between the tangible and the abstract through texturally driven compositions rooted in sensory-immersed memories.

About this collection:
Show title: Ember
In the delicate balance between ignition and extinguishment lies the essence of an ember. My latest body of work explores this transitional state, capturing a moment caught between the past and the future, between destruction and rebirth. An ember, often perceived as a fleeting and fragile element, embodies the persistence of life, the lingering warmth of what once was, and the potential for renewal. Through this collection, I seek to delve into these dichotomies, presenting the ember as a metaphor for resilience and transformation.
Each piece echoes the natural and human-made environments where embers might be found. Textures and hues evoke the various stages of an ember's life, drawing the viewer into a contemplative space and encouraging a deeper reflection on the transient yet enduring nature of existence. Ember is an invitation to introspection, asking us to consider the remnants of our own experiences, the quiet moments of transition, and the light forward.
