SEASONAL SHIPPING ASSOCIATE

Job Type: Part-Time, Seasonal
Hours: Approx 15-20 hours per week
Employment Period: Now through December 30th, 2024

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Seasonal Shipping Associate to join our team during the busy holiday season. This position is perfect for someone looking for a short-term role with flexible hours. The primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation and shipment of orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. The position is part-time, with approx 15-20 hours per week, and will conclude on December 30th, 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain an organized and clean shipping area, ensuring materials and supplies are well-stocked.
  • Track shipments and handle shipping inquiries or issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Work to meet deadlines during peak shipping periods.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and safe working environment.
  • Occasionally assist with other duties, such as gift wrapping or returns processing.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, or warehouse environments is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic computer skills for handling shipping software and printing labels.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

SALES ASSOCIATE
The ideal candidate would have high integrity, be a great communicator, quick learner, organized, self-directed, and motivated to help us grow.

  • Maintaining and building client relationships to support sales and community
  • Maintain an aesthetically pleasing store environment
Qualifications:
  • Good communication
  • Energetic and warm
  • Experience with or willingness to learn our sales platform (Lightspeed)
  • Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be based in or around the NH Seacoast
  • Art sales or gallery experience preferred
  • Retail experience strongly preferred

Job Type: Part-time (Weekends required)
Compensation: Hourly based on experience
Work Location: In person at 110 Congress Street, Portsmouth, NH
