About this collection:
"Moments of the Season"
I often create work in palettes that are inspired by memories and the feelings that surround them. Since my work is already abstract in nature, I like to stay away from representational elements in my art. I am getting ready to completely uproot my life in Austin, Texas where there are only three seasons (Summer, Insanely HOT Summer, Very Brief Winter) and am so excited to move to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which experiences all four seasons. Having grown up in Michigan, I have truly missed the full spectrum of seasons and find myself dreaming of snow and fall colors. This series celebrates some universal moments during the four seasons.
Medium: Paper in birch shadowbox
Dimensions: 7.5" x 7.5" x 3.5"
