Part-Time Position
Sales Associate
You're a great fit if you are
Outgoing, warm, and a great communicator β someone who's quick to learn, organized, and graceful under pressure. A genuine interest in visual art and a good sense of humor go a long way here. Weekend availability is a must, and we strongly prefer candidates based in or around the NH Seacoast.
Note: This is a year-round role etc We are currently not seeking out seasonal candidates.Schedule & Location
- 16β24 hours per week, year-round preferred
- 4β8 hour shifts; day and early evening
- Mix of weekday and weekend shifts
- Weekend availability required
- In person at 110 Congress St, Portsmouth, NH
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay, based on experience

What You'll Do
On the Floor
- Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Develop deep knowledge of Nahcotta's artists, products, and story
- Support sales and community through genuine, attentive engagement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Open and close the gallery, including cash handling
What We're Looking For
- Strong communicator β warm, honest, and energetic
- Experience with Shopify or willingness to learn
- Solid time-management and problem-solving skills
- Art sales or gallery experience preferred
- Retail experience strongly preferred
- Based in or around the NH Seacoast
