Raised in a log cabin in the woods, Kim Ferreira now lives in Portsmouth, NH, a lovely little city by the sea. Since the birth of her daughter in 2017, her work has focused on animals doing human things, specifically the things she loves including but not limited to, and in no particular order: sweet treats, flowers, music, nature, friends and family, books, chocolate, teatime, gardening, gazing at the stars and moon, her hankie. She calls the series 'Joie de Vivre', the french term used to describe the exuberant enjoyment of life.
