About the Artist
Leah Giberson was raised by artists deep in the woods of New Hampshire. She received her BFA in painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 1997 and, after decades of apartment living in the city, recently moved into a 135-year-old house north of Boston.
About this collection: From my earliest memories, I was fascinated by the orderly scenes and presumed normalcy of suburbia, all of which seemed worlds away from my bohemian upbringing in rural NH. My new collection of small works explores the tension between fact, fiction, and the imagined truths that lie just out of view.
