Sarah Winderlin is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Art and Tufts University. She lives in Ipswich where she is fortunate to enjoy mile upon mile of protected trails with her retired racing greyhound and rescued Galgo. As someone who loves animals and all things nature, Sarah strives to capture the essence of everything she paints. 20% of Sarah’s proceeds will be donated to New England Equine Rescue – NEER North in West Newbury, MA.

In this series for ETA #33, Sarah focused on locally rescued animals. They have a wide range of life stories - including a puppy playing in a ditch, an unsold laying hen, and an injured offtrack thoroughbred. Each animal has their story, and tough path, to rescue and then home. Sarah feels all creatures, of every circumstances, are worthy of portraiture.
