ETA 36. Making my quiet landscape paintings is a process of discovery. I start with an idea of how I want to begin but without any plan of how the painting will finish. What intimate portrait of a place will appear on the canvas? The process of painting them is a combination of spontaneous expression and of seeking balance and harmony, and in the end a new place is discovered - one that feels like home.
