Lauren Richelieu is a scientific illustrator from the coast of Maine, where she grew up drawing and painting the native flora and fauna. For Lauren, nature and art have always gone hand in hand. Merging these two curiosities became a way for her to process and communicate with the world around her. Lauren aims to pull inspiration from the environment surrounding her to create meticulously rendered visual narratives of scientific subjects and vanishing ecosystems.
