Existing between the broad, open expanses of landscape and the close, intimate nature of still life, this work is about not balancing both, but being oneself in both. There is a dance between the joy of dissolving and the comfort of rigidity. Each hopefully fueling the other. And there are plenty of places to sit with friends too
