Emily Furr is an oil painter based in Charleston, South Carolina. She studied painting and drawing at Winthrop University, where she earned her BFA, and earned her Master of Fine Arts from UNCG in 2020.Emily is a full time artist and loves what she does.

Tiny Summer Favorites: This series brings back some of my favorite paintings, reimagined in miniature. Each piece is a tiny version of a subject I have painted before and chosen for how it captures the feeling of summer. These shaped oil paintings in their striped frames celebrate the season through playful, familiar objects that carry warmth, nostalgia, and a sense of joy.
