About this collection: "Close to Home"
Walking is the groundwork of my creative practice, and most days I walk alone in my neighborhood or in local parks. Although I've followed the same routes a hundred times, each walk is an ever-changing experience as both the seasons and focus of my attention shift. The paintings in this collection show moments that stopped me in my well-worn tracks, inviting me to pause and be fully present with a sense of wonder
