About This Collection: 
These pieces are a continuation of some of my most recent work, which are snapshots from my commutes to and from work as well as from my travels in and around the seacoast. The ever-changing skies, which swing from bleak grey to intensely on fire, fascinate and inspire me.

Melissa Ambrose is a New England artist currently living on the seacoast of New Hampshire. She holds a BFA in painting from Rhode Island School of Design. Her work is primarily done in acrylic on panel and focuses on light and atmosphere. When she's not painting or designing, she can be found playing her cello in the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, and being the Creative Director for Savannah Bee Company.
