Chinese born artist, Wanru Kemp, started academic art training from her father when she was nine. Her style is influenced by the tradition of Chinese landscape painting and literature. She has been experimenting to incorporate the implicit expressions of the East into the Western painting methods. Wanru's recent work is inspired by the Canadian landscape where she currently resides.
